For the first time in history, the annual Day of the Covenant church service at the Voortrekker Monument will be broadcast via live streaming on our new website: www.vtm.org.za. After the service personnel of the VTM will collect messages for a time capsule to be opened in 2038. The messages will be kept in the time capsule at the Monument. Schools, related organisations, local business and the public are welcome to write their messages after the service at the tent in front of the woman and child sculpture.
Members of the Centurion ATKV will assemble an ox wagon directly after the service on the main parking area. The service will commence early and end at 10:00 whereupon the Monument will be open for day visitors who did not attend the service. The service and the sun shining on the Cenotaph will be projected on large screens in the Hall of Heroes and the Cenotaph Hall. Guests should be aware that the quality of sound projection is best in the Cenotaph Hall.
