This area was originally used as sleeping quarters for privates of the ZAR who occupied the fort until June 1900 when the fort was occupied by the British Forces.
Several paintings and busts of prominent persons during the Anglo-Boer War [1899 – 1902] and later, are displayed here. The collection is on loan from the SA Army College in Pretoria.
Manschappen is currently utilised as a conference facility and can be hired by outside companies.
White boards, projector screens and flip charts are available on request. Coffee, tea, snacks and lunches are also available.
